Scott Stewart
Senior Financial Consultant

Mr. Stewart has 14 years of healthcare management experience in both community hospital and academic medical center settings. He has a background in business development focused on financial analysis and product line development. He is able to leverage his hospital experience with his extensive financial background to improve existing operations and create new clinical services.

He has led multi-disciplinary teams in developing clinical service line programs; improving profitability, patient satisfaction, quality, and market-driven growth. He has built financial projection models used for short-term and long-term planning for capital expenditures, cash flow, operating performance, and bond rating. His diverse experience has positioned him to effectively manage operating requirements and its financial impact in a healthcare setting.

Jim Snyder
Senior Architectural Consultant

Jim has 37 years of experience in Healthcare Planning and Design. He is a seasoned expert in strategic and master planning, medical facility planning and design for healthcare facilities around the globe.

Prior to joining The Romans Group, Jim was Chairman, CEO and managing partner of ODELL and Associates, Inc. There he was responsible for the firm’s global healthcare planning and design work. Earlier in his career, he served as a Captain in the US Army, with responsibility for medical planning, programming and design of US Army medical facility development projects in the US, Europe and Asia.

Peggy King
Senior Clinical Consultant

Peggy King, RN, MBA, FACHE has over 35 years’ experience in the healthcare provider sector. This includes clinical, administrative operations, health care informatics, and corporate level leadership roles in a 100 Top Hospital academic system. She has a strong background in regulatory and accreditation readiness, risk management, self-insured captive management, litigation management, governance and functional structure design, and system-wide performance improvement strategies.

Peggy has done work for The Romans Group on engagements in Columbia, Kuwait, and China.

Mark Isfeld
Associate, Project Manager

With over 30 years experience from home construction across Canada and the United States, to commissioning of large oil and gas assets all around the world, Mark is a seasoned professional who has sought to increase awareness and responsibility in project management. He has successfully increased project efficiency through hands-on leadership and innovative approaches to problem solving.

Most recently, Mark has been involved in TRG’s work with Colombia’s El Bosque University and Compensar Caja de Compensación in the development of Los COBOS Hospital, a teaching hospital located in Bogotá, Colombia.

Leanne Flores, PMP
Associate, Project Manager

Leanne has over 15 years of Project Management experience in the Healthcare, Chemical, Industrial Gas, and even the Nuclear Industry where she had 10 years of experience in Project Management and safe operation of United States Navy nuclear propulsion plants during planned maintenance periods on aircraft carriers.

Leanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. Her expertise includes leading cross-functional teams using effective communication to achieve positive outcomes. Leanne has led over 75 projects to completion on-time and within or under budget.

Leanne serves as both a Project Manager and Program Manager for TRG projects currently ongoing in Tianjin, China and Qing Dao, China.

Danielle Nelson
Associate, Project Manager, Document Control

Danielle graduated from Texas A&M in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. Since then, she has accumulated over 10 years of experience in the Training and Implementation profession. While working as a Software Implementation Specialist for a major automotive dealership software provider, she was responsible for successfully transitioning the accounting, finance, and sales departments to the new software platform. She later worked for a project management software provider where her roles included Training & Implementation, Product Manager, and Project Manager.

Danielle is one of the Project Managers at TRG. Her background in Project Management and Implementations have given her the experience needed to coordinate large projects with the client’s needs in mind. In addition, she serves as the Document Control Manager and IT Administrator Assistant.

Scott Kerekes
Associate, Project Manager

Scott is an experienced Management Professional with demonstrated success in Project Management, Program Management, and Supply Chain Management. Scott has extensive experience in project management, contract negotiation, business analysis, business transformation, process design, application testing & training, and system implementations. Scott has vast experience in leading large and small cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in many various industries.

Scott’s strengths include Project Management, Problem Analysis & Solving, Change Management, Team Leadership, and Training. Scott combines project management and leadership skills with strong analytical, problem solving and technical abilities to effectively drive results. Scott has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain Management and is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and SAP Certified Application Associate – Procurement.

Matthew Jones
BSN, RN, CCRN Associate, Clinical Services

Matthew graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. He began his nursing career at Memorial Hermann in the world renowned Texas Medical Center where he specialized in critical care and earned his certification in critical care. While working in the Medicine ICU, Matthew served as a charge nurse and preceptor.

Currently, Matthew serves as the critical care Education/Resource Specialist for the Medicine service line and vascular access teams at Memorial Hermann. His responsibilities include new hire on-boarding and training, development of education and training plans, policy and procedures, and maintaining staff and unit compliance with Joint Commission requirements. Matthew developed and lead the education and training for all staff during the creation of a new Respiratory and ENT ICU. Additionally, he has developed and written several new and innovative education plans and programs used at Memorial Hermann-TMC.

Mark Gilgen
IT Consultant

Mark started working in the healthcare industry after completing his Computer Science degree from Southern Utah University in 2003. While working at the University he completed the MBA program at the University of Utah in 2006.

His career in IT as a programmer, analyst, and project manager, has given him great insight on how IT systems best integrate with business processes. Mark is passionate about constant improvement and is always looking for ways to make processes more efficient.

Mark has completed many projects dealing with clinical systems, security systems, hardware & infrastructure, and internal system development. Some of Mark’s favorite projects include converting hospital systems from paper based documentation to full electronic medical records, and working with development teams to create custom applications for internal departmental needs. Mark loves learning new technologies and looks forward to improving systems, staff and processes.
